Sue Cornell

Dr. Cornell is the Associate Director of Experiential Education and an Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmacy Practice at Midwestern University Chicago College of Pharmacy in Downers Grove, Illinois. She is also a clinical pharmacist and diabetes care provider/educator specializing in community and ambulatory care practice. Dr. Cornell’s current clinical practice is with the Access Health, Bolingbrook Christian and Will-Grundy Community clinics, where she trains, educates, and supervises students from the colleges of medicine, pharmacy, and health sciences, as they provide diabetes education and medication therapy visits for underserved patients. Dr. Cornell has been an active member of the American Diabetes Association and the Association of Diabetes Care & Education Specialists where she served on their board of directors from 2004 to 2007. She has given numerous presentations to various healthcare professionals and community groups and has published and contributed to many peer-reviewed, professional written and online publications.
