Kellie has a professional reputation for being passionate, focused, collaborative and outcome driven. Employed as the Director, Global Diabetes Program and Infectious Diseases Clinic at Parkland Health in Dallas, Texas. Responsible for building an effective and creative system of care delivery, to advance diabetes care and education, as well best practice approaches for infectious diseases prevention and treatment across the Parkland Health System and the broader Dallas community.
Kellie has been actively involved with the Association of Diabetes Care and Education Specialists (ADCES) at a national, state and local level – 2021 ADCES National President and Director, National Board of Directors 2017-2022. Past National Chair (2014) and board member (2011-2015) of the Board of Directors of the Certification Board for Diabetes Care and Education (CBDCE). Peer and non-peer reviewed publications and presented at local through international levels.
Kellie holds an Executive MBA in Health Sector Management and Policy from the University of Miami, Florida and has a Masters in Nursing degree and graduate studies in Diabetes Education from Melbourne, Australia.
