Journey through the Evolution and Future of Diabetes Care and Education



This webinar will review the current practices and the evolution in diabetes care including pharmacotherapy advances and technology evolution in medical management. The evolution of MNT from exchanges to eating patterns and plans will be reviewed. In diabetes self-management, we will review the value of the diabetes care and education specialist, including the outcomes, the stratification of the specialty, patient population, and the healthcare systems. Finally, there will be an interactive discussion with the panel on the future of diabetes care and education, including technology and organizational support for implementation of practices.
